Also, I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, whom shall I send, and who will go for us?

Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Isaiah 6:8

Fred Lampkin became a licensed minister in 2003 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor S.C. Nash. In 2005 he was ordained as Pastor at Macedonia Baptist Church in Kaufman, Texas. Pastor Lampkin, his wife Sherri, and their daughter LaNeen

were involved in various community efforts. Along with his Pastoral duties, Pastor Lampkin taught the men’s Sunday school class and bible study. Sherri and LaNeen were over the youth department, which included Sunday school and outreach programs.

In 2008, God gave Pastor Lampkin the vision to establish his church. Unknowing to LaNeen; she one day said to him; Daddy why don’t you open your own church? He then told her; this is confirmation because God has given me the vision to do just that. We prayed, thanked God, and commenced to seek out names for our church in the bible. In 2008 we began with bible study. By faith and obedience, we continue to serve God and our community; teaching, preaching, and spreading God’s word throughout the land.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Philippians 4:13

Sherri Lampkin has been a Real Estate Broker for many years. I noticed several men leaving at the same time, a few times a week from one of my commercial tenant’s offices.

I inquired as to the nature of the meetings he was conducting. The men were attending

BIPP classes – Battering Intervention and Prevention Program. I asked my tenant if I could volunteer because I had always been interested in community service; helping others. I trained for three weeks; then taught three classes a week for four months. My husband, Fred, LaNeen, our daughter, and I decided this was a mission God wanted us to undertake.

Fred and I traveled throughout Texas taking classes in order to receive certification to become a BIPP Provider. In 2010 we established PRM BIPP, a faith-based organization.

Our vision was to combine faith and community service to help people understand that violence is not an option; that love is not supposed to hurt. We pray that some will transition to the church and find themselves on the path of righteousness. The Lampkin family stands firmly together on our belief and teaches our clients that we can all live together in love, peace, and harmony.
